We are only about a week away before the public rollout of the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update is kicked off by Microsoft. The company released the RTM/final build (16299.15) of the Fall Creators Update to Windows Insiders in the Fast and Slow Rings recently, and it’s today bringing the update to the mass.

Starting today, Windows Insiders in the Release Preview ring can start using the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update. Release Preview ring is where Microsoft usually tests cumulative updates for Windows 10 before they are rolled out to all users, and it’s also the place where Microsoft releases major feature updates to Windows 10 a few days or weeks before the public release for last-minute testing purposes.

“As part of final preparations for the general availability of the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update on Oct. 17th, we have begun releasing Build 16299.15 to Windows Insiders in the Release Preview ring. If you are in the Release Preview ring and don’t see this build offered yet – be patient as it will be rolling out over the course of the next few days to everyone in the Release Preview ring,” said Microsoft’s Dona Sarkar in a blog post.

If you are a Windows Insider in the Release Preview ring, you can get build 16299.15 from Windows Update today. Keep in mind that there might be a couple of minor issues and rough edges here and there, but you shouldn’t run into any major issues at this point.
