With three new mobs to choose from in the Mob Vote, Mojang promises that the Minecraft Live 2023 event will be “the biggest and blockiest” yet.

The event is back on October 15 on Mojang’s YouTube channel and will feature news and announcements from Minecraft and Minecraft: Legends, as well as a sneak peek at what’s to come in future updates.

The most exciting part of Minecraft Live is the Mob Vote, where players get to choose which new mob will be added to the game. However, the three mobs that will be up for vote will be kept a secret until the beginning of October.

“When you cast your vote for a new mob, you help us decide what we’ll spend time developing. Then the mob gets added into the game as part of the next major update,” the announcement reads.

Last year’s Mob Vote winner was the sniffer, an ancient mob that was once extinct. The sniffer has been a popular addition to the game.

Voting will open on October 13 and close on October 15, just before the start of Minecraft Live. Players can vote on the Bedrock server, in the Minecraft launcher, or on Minecraft.net.

Minecraft is available on Windows, macOS, and Linux.
