WhatsWrapp brings WhatsApp notifications to Windows 10 with WhatsApp Web

If you use WhatsApp a lot everyday, you will be glad to know that there is a new Windows 10 app which brings a pretty handy feature to the desktop. Meet WhatsWrapp, a Project Westminster app which utilizes WhatsApp Web to bring WhatsApp notifications to your Windows 10 computer. The app basically uses web.whatsapp.com, and you will have to set it up with your Windows Phone (or Android and iPhone) to start using the app. Here is a screenshot of the notifications:

It is worth noting that the push notifications don’t seem to work in the background — that means, if you don’t have the app open all the time, you won’t get push notifications. Hopefully, this feature will get introduced with a future update. In addition to this, the app also provides live tile updates which can be quite handy, too.
