WhatsApp today updated their app on Windows Phone platform to v2.16.2. This seems to be minor update with no change log. Previous update for WhatsApp added support for video trimming and more. Find the details below.

  1. This update lets you trim a video before you send it. Recently, WhatsApp also added video compressor to the app, which allows users to easily send much longer video.
  2. You can now send documents to others in addition to photos and videos. Recently, WhatsApp added the ability to receive documents.
