On May 21, 2025, WhatsApp launched the iOS beta version 25.16.10.72 through TestFlight. The upcoming update lets users use their favourite to both media and messages.

Users in the beta can now respond to messages and media with stickers pulled from their personal collection. Additionally, the reaction tray now includes emojis, recent emojis, and recent stickers.

You can access all your stickers, downloaded, saved, AI-generated, and third-party ones, right from the tray. WhatsApp also supports animated stickers built with Lottie, making reactions feel more lively.

This update makes replies more expressive. A sticker showing a shocked face, for example, can say more than a basic emoji. It adds humor, sarcasm, or tone that emojis often miss.

Right now, only some beta testers have access. WhatsApp hasn’t shared a full release date yet. But it plans to roll the feature out in a future update across iOS and Android.
