imageI know that many of our readers have become rather fatigued by news of the ever improving but never released WhatsApp for Windows Phone beta.

Today’s news is rather interesting however, with new translation strings being found which suggests the WhatsApp for Windows Phone app may get voice calling capability around the same time as the iOS and Android versions.

WhatsApp’s CEO announced their chat app will get the feature earlier this year, coming first to iOS and Android this Spring.

It seems however  that WhatsApp is already working on the Windows Phone version, with new strings for Hang up, Incoming call, Outgoing call being found in the Windows Phone client.

Hopefully this means Windows Phone will get the service around the same time or not long after the iOS and Android apps.

Either way, with all the new features the WhatsApp beta is accumulating, the app is sure to be a massive upgrade to the current version when eventually released.
