Facebook has finally introduced the call waiting feature in WhatsApp for Android devices. Until now, if you are on a WhatsApp call, if someone else tries to call you on WhatsApp, the caller will receive busy tone, but you will not know that someone is trying to call you. With this latest update, when you receive a second call, WhatsApp will now allow you to accept an incoming WhatsApp call while you’re already on another call. This update also allows you to control who can add you to groups. This is a great feature which will help you avoid spam messages from random groups. Find the full change log of this update below.
- New privacy settings allow you to control who can add you to groups. Go to Settings > Account > Privacy > Groups to get started.
- Added call waiting support so you can choose to accept an incoming WhatsApp call while you’re already on another call.
- You can now require a fingerprint to unlock WhatsApp. Tap Settings > Account > Privacy > Fingerprint lock and enable Unlock with fingerprint.
- Fixed an issue which caused fast battery drain on some devices.
You can download the updated WhatsApp app here from Play Store.
