WhatsApp Beta for Windows Phone gets hidden Unsend feature

In December 2016 WhatsApp beta for the iPhone received a new feature which lets users cancel or edit an already sent message as long as the recipient has not read it yet (ie only one tick is visible), or within 29 minutes of the message being sent.
It appears this hidden feature has now also arrived in the Windows Phone app, according to WABetaInfo, who spotted it in version 2.17.94 of the app.
WABetaInfo says they expect the feature to be activated remotely in the near future.
