WhatsApp Beta for Windows Phone finally gets long-awaited feature

After 7 months of waiting, WhatsApp has finally activated an important feature on Windows Phone which has been available for months on iOS and Android.

Version 2.18.106 update finally activates the Live Location feature, allowing WhatsApp users on Windows Phone to share their location for a limited time (up to 8 hours) with friends in chats and groups.

The feature can be activated by tapping on the Attach icon and choosing Location.

The latest beta update can be downloaded from the Microsoft Store below. WhatsApp will update the official app as soon as they’re done testing the beta version.
