Pou is a popular mobile game for Blackberry, iOS and Android featuring an alien character that resembles a triangular potato that can be fed, cleaned, exercised, and put to sleep. There are also mini games within the app and coins can be earned to purchase costumes, decorations, and modifications of the game environment by playing the mini game or by reaching the achievements.

It is somewhat similar to Tamagotchi, but Pou can also interact with other Pous by visiting them when the game is connected to the internet or play games with other Pous as opponent via selected mini games which as Pou-vs-Pou (PvP) capability the game connectivity is either Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or even via Internet.

In case you have never heard of it, the virtual pet has more than 100 million downloads on Android, so I am sure plenty of others have.

Now the Pou team has announced on their official facebook page that the creature will be coming to Windows Phone soon, which I am sure will expand their numbers by a few million also.

See a video demo below.
