Verizon launches the Lumia 735, available for $79.99 on-contract

It’s been awhile since Verizon was rumored to launch the Microsoft Lumia 735. Today, it’s finally here. The Lumia 735 is available for $8 per month on Verizon EDGE – you can also pick-up the device for $79.99 on a 2-year contract. And if you don’t fancy contracts, you can pay the full price which is $192 for the Lumia 735 at Verizon.

It’s worth noting that Verizon is also offering one year of Office 365 (Professional) subscription with the device, which is worth $69.99. However, keep in mind that the offer will end on the 31st of July.


Verizon is also offering some accessories for the Lumia 735 as well. Here’s the list of accessories that’s available for the Lumia 735 at Verizon:

  • Shell Holster Combo with Kickstand ($29.99)
  • Shell Holster Combo with Kickstand for Microsoft Lumia 735 ($24.99)
  • Case-Mate Naked Tough ($34.99)
  • Anti-Scratch Screen Protector ($12.99)
  • High Gloss Silicone Cover ($19.99)

For those who don’t know, the Verizon Lumia 735 comes with a 4.7-inch display (1280×720), 1GB RAM, 16GB of internal storage, a 6.7MP rear camera, a 5MP front camera, a 2,200mAh battery and LTE. Under the hoods, there’s a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor – clocked at 1.2 GHz.It’s also worth noting that the device comes with Windows Phone 8.1 Update 2 as well.

Currently, only the black variant of the Lumia 735 is available at Verizon and it’s unclear if Verizon will launch other colors. Nonetheless, you can head over to this link to checkout the Lumia 735 at Verizon.
