OneDrive API

OneDrive is one of the key features of the Microsoft ecosystem, but unlike many other Microsoft services does not yet have a Universal Windows App.

It seems that is about to change however, as according to Omar Shahine, Group Program Manager for the service, Microsoft is currently “actively working” on just such an app.

In earlier responses he also said pinning files and folders was coming back to Windows 10, and that Microsoft would also enable to ability todownload folders directly, vs selecting the content of folders and downloading them individually.

All these items are of course minor pain points when using the service, and it is good to see Microsoft looking at Uservoice to help iron them out.
