  • The Assassin’s Creed makers also teases the release of a new subscription plan.
  • It’s called Ubisoft+ Classic on PC, which costs $7.99 a month.

Ubisoft is undergoing some changes at the moment. The Assassin’s Creed franchise maker, which had tied an agreement with Activision Blizzard last year to bring its games to the cloud, is renaming Ubisoft+ subscription plans

Under the new announcement, Ubisoft+ Multi-Access and PC Access have become Ubisoft+ Premium. It costs $17.99 a month, just slightly more expensive than Xbox Game Pass Ultimate ($16.99). You can subscribe on Ubisoft’s website or on Xbox’s site.

“Premium means day one access to new releases and in some cases, like Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, early access to upcoming new releases. This is on top of our extensive back catalog, where you’ll have access to premium editions, DLC, and monthly rewards,” says Ubisoft’s director Philippe Tremblay in the official announcement.

Besides, Ubisoft also teases the release of a new subscription plan. It’s called Ubisoft+ Classic on PC, and for $7.99 a month, you’ll get access to a growing list of classic PC games. Far Cry 6, Rainbow Six Siege, and Watch Dogs: Legion are some of the first games that join the list.

“All of this is offered on Xbox, PC, and Amazon Luna, and you’ll only need to subscribe once to have access to these games across all these platforms,” he further says.
