Update: Far Cry 5 focuses on a religious cult in the United States. While Ubisoft didn’t provide any additional details, it’s probably going to be an adventure where you have to take down their crazed leader—the gentleman with the yellow aviators.
Ubisoft just announced that the latest Far Cry game is coming to America! And that’s all they said in a statement we got this morning. Below you’ll find some teaser vignettes which don’t really give away much. The worldwide reveal will happen this Friday, May 26 so keep an eye out on that.
It’s unclear what the story is about or what time period it takes place in but we do know that Sony has marketing rights to the game. We’ll have more coverage for you on Friday! Until then, enjoy the gorgeous teasers which hopefully show in-game footage.
