Sega’s inventive and oftentimes morbid take on the hospital simulation genre in Two Point Hospital is coming to consoles this February.

Launching on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch, the insane, whacky, funtastic, zany pseudo-simulator will be playable away from your mouse and keyboard on February 25th.

The title is currently set to launch straight into Microsoft’s subscription service Xbox Game Pass, a revelation that not only happens often but always manages to surprise us.

The game was originally set to launch in the tail end of this year, but was delayed for numerous reasons.

“So why the delay,” developer Two Point  Studios asks. “Put simply: making a management simulation game on three consoles (and making it the best it possibly can be on all three), is a tricky programming puzzle.”

“We know you’ll be a bit disappointed by this news, but hopefully you understand why we’re doing it: quality is the most important thing and we want you to have the very best experience.”

Nevertheless, we’re still looking forward to the evential release of the game, and waiting does come with some benefits!

Console players will be able to immediately enjoy the Bigfoot and Pebberley Island expansions that bring new environments and challenges to the game. There’s also new features such as the Interior Designer, copy and pasting room layouts and character customisation. Splendid!
