These two applications are very poplular on the WP7 marketplace, and rightly so.
Shazam can also be found on the iTunes, and which was released two years ago.  Shazam gives you instant satisfaction when you want to know what song is playing. Just point your phone toward the music source to identify the track.  The app is a recommended download, and is currently completely free with unlimited tagging, thanks to their promotional launch deal.
Lyrics by MusiXmatch lets you match lyrics to your own music collection, instantly search for the lyrics to any song, and always have a current chart of top lyrics country-by-country.
These two applications are powerful; both of them have huge databases and the user interfaces are simple, easy, and beautifully designed.
Both applications can be found by searching in the Windows Phone 7 marketplace.
