We have earlier reported that Twitter is in the process of developing a new feature that will make the whole process of finding conversations in Twitter DMs(Direct Messages) a lot quicker. The company said that it will roll out the feature to the public once it’s ready.

True to its word, the company has finally rolled out the Twitter DM search feature to the Twitter iOS app and as well as to the Twitter web app. Unfortunately, the feature is not yet available for the Android counterpart of Twitter, but you can still use the feature on your Android smartphone by downloading the Twitter Lite app(which is a web app) from the Google Play store. Likewise, if you’re using the Twitter web app on your Windows 10 PC, you will be able to take advantage of the new feature to search for important conversations on Twitter.

Once you go the DM, you’ll see a search bar at the top. The placeholder text of the search says “Search for people and groups,” which also suggests that besides individual conversations, the search will also produce a satisfactory result for group conversations.
