The new Samsung Galaxy View2 is a “mobile TV” which comes with built-in 4G LTE.

Its 17.5″ full HD display and 12,000mAh battery make it ideal for entertainment purposes.  Android apps can be used in portrait or landscape orientation and the “TV Mode” allows you to watch movies and shows on DIRECTV NOW.  Quad speakers with Dolby Atmos Sound will also help to recreate the cinematic experience.

It comes with an eight-core 1.6GHz Exynos 7884 chipset and 64GB of built-in memory. Users who aren’t subscribed to DIRECTV (or other streaming services) will probably need to use a microSD card for a further 400GB of expandable memory; to make space for all of those downloads.

The tablet/TV hybrid includes a front-facing 5-megapixel camera; and with AT&T NumberSync, you can make and receive HD voice and video calls using your own smartphone number.

Back in 2015, Samsung released the original Galaxy View for $599.  The View2 is priced at $740, or $37 a month from AT&T over 20 months.  If you’re interested, you can buy one from the 26th April.
