A handful of games release on Xbox One every week, ranging from AAA titles to lesser-known indie games. Xbox Wire compiles many of these releases, but misses a few and does not give any recommendations. Here are some of the games coming out the week of April 2 through April 8 that we think you should check out. Once again it’s a quieter week with the absence of major releases.

TERA

TERA originally released six years ago for PC, but it hasn’t made its way to consoles until now. The MMORPG is free-to-play and blends thrilling combat against menacing monsters with conventional RPG mechanics. Now that its coming to Xbox One in a few days, the interface has been redesigned and optimized for game controllers.

The Adventure Pals

The Adventure Pals is a side-scrolling hack-n-slash game with local drop-in/drop-out co-op. Sequel to the Super Adventure Pals, this entry in the series features a young boy and his giraffe on a quest to rescue the boy’s father from the evil Mr. B, a man who wants to turn the boy’s father into a hot dog.

Minit

As its title implies, Minit is played 60 seconds at a time. In order to stop a curse that ends each day after a minute, you’ll need to venture out of your home and face the perils that await you. It utilizes retro pixelated graphics and simplistic black & white visuals.

Raiders of the Broken Planet: Hades Betrayal

The Hades Betrayal expansion to Raiders of the Broken Planet adds all-new content and missions as the Raiders are pit up against The Hades Division, the most powerful military force out there. It is an Xbox Play Anywhere title so grabbing just one digital copy on Xbox One gives you access to the game on console and PC.

Dead Ahead: Zombie Warfare

Dead Ahead: Zombie Warfare is a tactical survival sequel to Dead Ahead. Your job is to defend your bus against a zombie invasion, and to do this you’ll need to gather supplies, look for other survivors, and upgrade your bus to the best of your ability.

Dangun FeveronMetropolis: Lux Obscura, and Enigmatis 3: The Shadow of Karkhala are also releasing next week. If any of these look like they may interest you, give them a shot and try them out for yourself.
