The cult-classic action game ToeJam & Earl is heading to Switch, according to a tweet from ToeJam & Earl themselves.
In response to a tweet from the parody Twitter account Put Everything On Switch, the game’s official Twitter account officially confirmed that the sleeper hit would indeed be heading to Nintendo’s latest console.

Originally released on the Sega Genesis in 1991, the game focuses on the eponymous rappers who are actually two aliens who have crash-landed on Earth. The game was re-released on the Wii’s Virtual Console in December 2006 and re-released again on PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade in November 2012.
ToeJam & Earl are also returning in an upcoming fourth entry to the series, funded on Kickstarter and slated for release on multiple platforms including Linux, macOS, Microsoft Windows, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One in early 2019.
