MINECON 2019 is almost upon us – it’s taking place on September 28th, to be more specific – and in celebration of the event, Mojang has revealed that three biomes in Minecraft are all set to receive some nice new updates.

The three biomes in question are the Swamp, Mountains, and Badlands. All three will receive new “mobs, features, and mechanics” in a future update, and Mojang wants you to decide which biome gets special treatment first.

The voting will be held on Twitter, over at Minecraft’s official Twitter account. For those unfamiliar with how Twitter polls work, all you need to know is that you need a Twitter account to be able to vote and that you can only vote once.

You don’t need to make up your mind just yet, unless you absolutely have your heart set on a certain biome, as Mojang will be releasing more videos that showcase the biome updates all the way until MINECON 2019.

Just remember that all three biomes will be updated eventually and that this vote just determines which biome gets revamped first.

MINECON 2019 is set to be around 90 minutes long and ‘packed with juicy Minecraft news’. It’ll also feature guest appearances from content creators and on-demand community panels.

You don’t need a ticket or anything fancy to be a part of MINECON 2019. All you need is a device, such as a phone, tablet, computer, or even a games console. You can check out the official website here.
