MINECON, the official live celebration of all things Minecraft, is back with a bang this year. MINECON 2019 will be streamed live on September 28th at 12pm EST.

Previously known as MinecraftCon, the event is an annual interactive live stream hosted by Mojang. The event has been going officially since 2011, although some count the 30+ person meetup in 2010 as the first ever MINECON.

MINECON 2019 is set to be around 90 minutes long and ‘packed with juicy Minecraft news’. It’ll also feature guest appearances from content creators and on-demand community panels.

You don’t need a ticket or anything fancy to be a part of MINECON 2019. All you need is a device, such as a phone, tablet, computer, or even a games console. You can check out the official website here.

Earlier today, Mojang announced Minecraft Earth, Microsoft’s first ever mobile AR game. You can read all about it in our rundown right here. With a closed beta coming this summer, you’ll be able to harness the power of Minecraft to craft beautiful creations and use AR to bring them to life.

In the meantime, celebrate 10 years of Minecraft with up to 25% off official merchandise. Go on, get that giant Creeper plush you’ve always wanted. You deserve it. You can browse the Minecraft store here.

Alternatively, take the time to relive the good old days and play Minecraft Classic in your browser.
