image To end the day like we did yesterday, here is one though from a reader that has a lot to say, and hopefully you have similar views.

I consider myself a power user. I started with an Audiovox 5600, moved to a Siemens SX66, then to an 8525, Touch Pro and now Tilt 2.  I love WinMO, but am tired of it.  I love the flexibility, the different shells and massive amounts of programs.  I have tendencies to enjoy tweaking and tweaking, but times have changed for me.  That spare time is gone now.  I now care that I have to soft reset my phone daily and that the multitasking ability can cause my phone to seize any time.  The so call improved memory management in WinMO 6.5 is no where to be seen in my book.  I tired of the performance hits TF3D and SPB Mobile shell extract (the two UIs I use). I’m tired of having a finger friendly shell and have some programs that don’t require my stylus and some that do.  I’m tired of having to look for custom roms because ATT dorks the standard rom up so much.   I’m tired of flashing a rom only to find a flaw I can’t deal with.  I hate showing my phone to people because if they like it, I have to stay it’s not stock that way.  I want to brag about my phone, but people aren’t interested in the work I do to get my phone to that spot. People have lives to lead.  I’m tired of the lag that my phone has when moving between items at times. I’m tired of not knowing in my press either phone or stylus was recognized because the phone is busy doing something (gotta love multitasking, huh).
I need my phone to work reliably.
I’m excited for WM 7.  I’m excited about a consistent UI.
I am excited that no applications can be ported, so the UI will be consistent in applications too.
I’m excited for hubs that bring contacts, pictures and music together.
I don’t use copy and paste.
The multitasking ability of my Tilt 2 is really a joke.  Be honest.  It only takes a few programs, say playing music, have a GPS app open and some other static apps to slow the phone to its knees.
I hardly ever use the storage as a disk drive (but I will miss it because I do at times use it)
I’m looking forward to a great Onenote client, and am hopeful for a great IE to use. Opera is ok, but not that great.
I’m looking forward to a phone with less garbage from ATT.  I’m looking forward to OS updates.
I’m looking forward to a Zune client with a great music experience and also a great photo browsing experience.
I believe MS understands how important this release is and they need to get it right. I also think this OS is farther along that we know and that not all cards have been played yet because of the time needed to get it to market.  I have no evidence of this, it’s just my personal belief.
Most people don’t care about custom roms, they want their phones to work.  It’s already been proven that most consumers don’t care about all the complaints listed on the website due to the popularity of the iphone.  True, I agree with some of the complaints listed on the WMPower user, but am willing to put them aside for the experience I want.  I’ll be buying the phone the moment I have the chance.
I’m confident XDA will be there to help out with some deficiencies and I might take advantage of that.

Please respect other views, and if you disagree say it kindle or better yet, until the 15th I am still taking thoughts by readers on WP7 or anything Windows Phones.
