Microsoft has published the End of Support dates for all the Surface tablets and laptops, both old and new.
This is the period Microsoft will provide driver and firmware support for their devices, and is separate from OS updates.
The clock starts ticking from the release of the device, and for the oldest devices such as the Surface RT, Surface Pro and Surface 2 Microsoft is delivering 5 years of support. For newer devices, it is generally 4 years from their date of release.
