The Walking Dead: The Final Season will continue sooner than we originally thought. Announced during the new Kinda Funny Games Showcase, The Final Season’s new release date is January 2019.
The third and penultimate episode in The Walking Dead: The Final Season will be released on January 15th 2019. No details were given about the status of the fourth episode, but it can be presumed that it will also be out sometime in 2019.
The Walking Dead: The Final Season was halted mid-production after Telltale Games was forced to shut down earlier in the year. However, the series was picked up by Skybound Games, who said they would be picking up where Telltale left off with the help of some former Telltale developers.
Players who have purchased the entire season of The Walking Dead: The Final Season will, of course, still have access to the remaining two episodes of the series.
The Walking Dead: The Final Season is available on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
