Even as we’re close to the Galaxy Note10 launch, we’ve essentially been told everything about its specs, down to the silicon that’ll drive the whole experience.

Veteran leaker Evan Blass (EvLeaks) weighed in today to amend some of the earlier reporting around the specs, saying that Samsung will use its own chips and not Qualcomm’s to power its flagship smartphone.

“In the US, only Verizon Note10 models will be Qualcomm-powered, and they will be regular Snapdragon 855, not [the Snapdragon] 855+,” Blass said. “The other carries, like the rest of the world, will have Exynos 9825 versions, I’m told.”

We’ll see how true this information is in just about a week when Samsung officially launches the device.
