The new iPhones might be 40% more battery efficient

Apple’s new iPhones for 2019 are rumoured to have everything and the kitchen sink, on the outside. But there are few stories that have delved into what we can see from them internally.

According to Cult of Mac, the firm is working on delivering a huge performance boost to its iPhones with the A!2 chip. This is done by building the chip on a 7nm process, compared to the 10nm process that was used to build the A11. TSMC says that this will name the A12 20% faster and 40% more energy efficient,t which means that Apple will be able to get more power of out of the same size batteries.

Apple is expected to unveil its 2018 lineup in just a few weeks, and we’ll know just whats under the hood by then.
