There’s a lot to think about when buying a new car, more than performance, mileage, and comfort, safety is the one we should concentrate on. In the past few years, leading car brands have started adding brand-new safety features to attract customers. According to NHTSA (National Highway Traffic Safety Administration) in the US and European New Car Assessment Programme, Tesla Model 3 is the safest car you can buy right now.
- Tesla Model 3 earned an overall 5-star rating from NHTSA (National Highway Traffic Safety Administration), including earning 5-stars in every category and sub-category, and scoring the lowest probability of injury of any car ever evaluated by the U.S. New Car Assessment Program.
- Tesla Model 3 earned 5-star rating from European New Car Assessment Programme (Euro NCAP). The Programme’s four categories – each of which Model 3 earned 5-stars in – evaluate a car’s ability to protect adults, children, vulnerable road users like cyclists and pedestrians, as well as its safety assistance features.
Tesla Model 3 has become the safest car because of the combination of rigid structure, low center of gravity, great impact protection and Autopilot safety assist features. Tesla’s Autopilot safety assist features include Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) system, Lane Departure Avoidance, Emergency Lane Departure Avoidance, conditional speed limits based on time of day and weather conditions and more. Tesla yesterday posted some real life videos of its advanced safety system, take a look at them below.
