Telnet client is available for download from Windows Phone marketplace. Read the long description below which will explain its functionality.

App Description:

A telnet client for your phone! Play text-based online games (MUDS, etc…) or log into various kinds of telnet-based terminal hosts. Telnet supports an optimized subset of the VT100 terminal standard, including basic color support and text formatting. It can even connect to multiple servers at the same time! Supports a favorites list to store your favorite hosts, and you can pin your favorites to your start screen for quick access. You can also define macros to save on typing, and you can pin frequently used macros to the shortcuts bar to execute scripts without typing. You can also enter a script for each host that will execute when you connect, for example to login once you’re connected. The input box supports both the screen keyboard or hardware imagekeyboard, if you have one. With a hardware keyboard, you can push the up and down arrow keys to cycle through previous commands you’ve sent to the server. Press enter twice to re-send the last command you sent to the server for quick navigation. By default, this telnet client will only connect over wifi to save you data usage, but you can elect to use the cellular data connection if you prefer. You can also tell it to connect over the cellular connection even when there is a wifi connection available, in those cases where a firewall would prevent you from connecting.

The app costs $1.99 with free trial available. You can download it here.
