Telegram for Windows Phone has been updated to version 3.3 for users still on Windows Phone 8.1 or Windows 10 Mobile.
The app incorporates updates to the newly added authentication feature — Passport. For those uninformed, Telegram Passport is a feature that lets you use your Telegram account to authenticate yourself in a manner which is not unlike Facebook, Google or Microsoft. This update improves the flexibility of the feature.
Here’s the changelog below:
- Telegram Passport now supports more types of data including translated versions of documents.
- Improved password hashing algorithm to better protect Telegram Passport data.
Telegram Messenger can be downloaded for Windows phone users from the Microsoft Store here.
