Popular privacy-focused messaging app Telegram has been updated in the Microsoft Store to version 1.54.

According to the changelog the update brings only one new feature – support for Polls, allowing users to create polls in groups and channels – right from the chat menu.

At present, polls are anonymous, meaning that no one can see who voted for what. Going forward, Telegram may introduce non-anonymous polls where the voters lists will be public, but such polls will be explicitly marked as non-anonymous.

You can get the app from the Microsoft Store here.
