On today’s Office Mechanics show, Microsoft gave a demo of the new Office 2016 for Mac Preview, which brings together all the most recent updates for Office on the Mac. Kaberi Chowdhury joined Jeremy Chapman to demonstrate highlights of what’s new with PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook and even the newest member of the Office for Mac family, OneNote.
Office 2016 for Mac was announced earlier this month and includes updates to Word, Excel, PowerPoint along with Outlook and OneNote. Office 2016 for Mac Preview is integrated with the cloud so you can access your documents on OneDrive, OneDrive for Business and SharePoint at anytime, anywhere and on any device. You can also share your files easily with others right from the Word, Excel or PowerPoint.
Beyond the cloud-connected capabilities, Kaberi demos the new Presenter View in PowerPoint, power user features in Excel, threaded comments and formatting enhancements in Word, and much more.
