Microsoft yesterday released a new Windows 10 Technical Preview Build 9860 for its Windows Insider members. The new build included new animations, Action Center and few other changes. In addition to those, Microsoft also included several new features such as Battery Sense, DataSense and more.

Lets take a look at the new DataSense feature in Windows 10. As you can see in the image above, you have an overview section which displays the amount of internet you have used so far using WiFi and Cellular.

The Settings section which you can see above offers three options,

  • Restrict Background Data
  • Restrict Background Data when roaming
  • Show total data usage for device

The usage section which you can see above will display the usage of data by individual apps and services.
