During the demo at the press event yesterday, Joe Belfiore didn’t show off many new features and changes in Windows 10 for phones. One of the most notable one is the all new Maps app. Yes, Microsoft has built a brand new Maps app that includes the best of Maps, HERE Maps, HERE Drive+, and Bing 3D Maps.
It can provide turn-by-turn directions by voice. You can ask Cortana to repeat any directions if you need using “Cortana, repeat that” command.
It has new design for business listings pulling content from the web using Bing. Overall, it looks like a great update for Mapping experience on Windows 10 for phones.
