The Galaxy Fold’s release may have got off to a rocky start, but Samsung claims that extensive testing has proven that all the screen-related problems are no more.  However, mobile carrier T-mobile remains dubious.

Due to release in September, T-mobile has confirmed that carrying the smartphone is a risk they are no longer willing to take.

T-Mobile will not carry the Galaxy Fold because we already offer customers a wide range of the latest smartphones.

Please reach out to Samsung for any further inquiries.

AT&T, who were also previous providers, replied they’re “working with Samsung” when asked if they’re continuing their support.

Given that handsets are increasingly unsubsidised, particularly on T-mobile; this may not be as big of an issue as it would have been in earlier years.

Let’s hope that more mobile carriers don’t close the book on the Samsung Galaxy Fold.
