Microsoft Edge is the default browser for Windows 10, and comes with perks such as improved battery life, an integrated e-book reader, and nifty reading features, unfortunately, Edge isn’t really an option on mobile, so you can’t take advantage of the cross-platform syncing features that many browsers have when paired with the appropriate iOS and Android app. If you prefer to sync Edge with your mobile device, or simply like working with multiple browsers, Microsoft has a tool to let you keep your bookmarks and favourites in sync across different browsers.

How to Sync Edge favourites in Windows 10

  1. Open Microsoft Edge and navigate to settings by pressing the … button at the top right of the browser interface.
  2. In the Settings Pane, select “Import your info” from another browser and select the browser of choice. The screenshot below shows Edge and Internet Explorer, but Opera and Firefox are also supported. If you have HTML files with your favourites saved, you can also import it in this menu.
  3. Once you’ve selected your browser of choice, tap Import
  4. Your bookmarks should now be synced across your Edge browser and will now propagate along all PCs with the same Microsoft account. You can do this once, or repeat it regularly as the need arises.
