Microsoft today released a major update for SwiftKey app for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch devices. This new update includes bunch of new features like emoji prediction, improvements to 3D Touch and more.
Whenever you want to insert an emoji, you generally scroll through a huge list of emojis to find the perfect one you want. SwiftKey is trying to resolve this problem with a new feature. When you tap on the regular emoji key, you will find a new emoji prediction panel. After youโve typed something, tap the emoji key, youโll see a set of 18 emoji that match your sentence, making it faster than ever to insert the emoji you want.
This update also includes 8 new โOxygenโ themes in a spectrum ofย vibrant colors including Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Light Blue, Blue, Purple and Pink. You can get these themes for free fromย the โDesignโ section of the app.
Based on the user feedback, SwiftKey has made improvements to 3D Touch behaviour. 3Dย Touch to trigger cursor control and the ability to swipe to move the cursor are now more responsive.ย They have also added haptic feedback for certain keyboard actions, like opening the emoji panelย for users on iPhone 7 or above.
SwiftKey for iOS already supportsย over 100 languagesย on iOS and today they are adding support for following 15 languages.
