Microsoft has released new driver updates to the Surface Studio this week. There’s nothing especially new here, the firm’s updates are to drivers that are necessary for Windows Mixed Reality. However, as Neowin correctly notes, these were already updated previously in an October update that coincided with the Fall Creator’s Update rollout.

One assumes that these updates are just to improve the stability and reliability of those drivers.

Here’s the changelog:

  • Marvell AVASTAR Bluetooth Radio Adapter – Bluetooth – 15.68.9120.47 required to support Windows Mixed Reality features
  • Marvell AVASTAR Wireless-AC Network Controller – Network adapters – 15.68.9120.47 required to support Windows Mixed Reality features.
  • NVIDIA GeForce GTX driver – Display adapters – 21.21.13.8795 required to support Windows Mixed Reality features.

The update should be rolled out automatically to your PC, or you can download it directly from Windows Update from the settings app.
