Around 18 months after its release, India’s largest state-owned bank, State Bank of India, has announced that they will be discontinuing the Windows Phone 8 version of the app.

The news was released via SMS and a pop-up notification in the app, and also includes users on the older Android 4.2 OS.

The app allowed users to check statements, pay bills, transfer money and much more and given that there is no Windows 10 version the loss of the app will have a significant impact on SBI customers using the OS.

While it lasts, the app can be seen in the Windows Store here.
