Instagram Stories is getting new integration with Spotify as Facebook expands the capabilities of Instagram.
With Spotify’s new share to Instagram Stories feature, users can directly share whatever their listening o in the music app to an Instagram Story, or directly to a friend via Instagram Direct.
For instance, a user playing Finesse would be able to — when sharing to Instagram — unlock custom art stickers and captions to add to their Story.
Users who view the Story will be able to see a “Play on Spotify” button that enables them to open the shared song on their own Spotify app and start playing right away.
Instagram Stories integration in Spotify should be coming to iOS and Android from today, putting yet another gap between Instagram, and the first mover, Snapchat.
