Internet speed test tools can always be handy, and Ookla’s Speedtest.net is undoubtedly one of the most used speed test tools out there. Today, Ookla has quietly released a new Speedtest app for Windows 10 PCs, and it’s simply gorgeous. The Windows 10 app includes a design similar to the company’s beta web app and it works smoothly — everything from the animation to the actual design is done perfectly. Some features of the Speedtest app are listed below:

  • Get your ping, download, and upload speeds within seconds
  • Real-time graphs show connection consistency
  • Troubleshoot or verify the speed you were promised
  • Track prior tests with detailed reporting
  • Easily share your results

Unfortunately though, the new Speedtest app isn’t available for Windows 10 Mobile devices just yet. However, assuming that the new Windows 10 app is a Universal Windows App, it could be coming soon to Windows 10 Mobile devices.
