A quick note for our 250-odd daily German readers – the Xperia X1 is now available on O2 Germany for 349,99 Euro with a 24-month contract of 30 Euro per month, or for 619,99 Euro without contract.
If you rather wait for your favourite carrier, both Vodafone D2 and T-Mobile Germany will be getting the sleek smartphone later this year.
In an unrelated note, UK punters will be less fortunate. MSMobiles reports that Vodafone UK has sold out after “surprisingly high demand“. While this is bad news for buyers, it can only be good news for Sony Ericsson and Windows Mobile, both in need of a big hit.
