A new emulator for SNES games is now available in the Windows Phone 8 store.

Performance is said to be excellent, likely due to taking advantage of native code, and the emulator comes with one free game.

Unlike most emulators game controls are on-screen, allowing for a full-screen experience.

ROMs are installed via SkyDrive, and needs to be uploaded separately.

The emulator is free and can be found in the Windows Phone 8 Store here.

A version of the app is also available in the Windows 8 store, if you want to take your retro-gaming to an even bigger screen.

Thanks Efrye for the tip.
