Sling TV is partnering with Microsoft to improve the Sling TV experience on Xbox One and Windows 10 devices. Today, they announced a new update for their Xbox One app with new UI that offers more personalized and customizable TV experience.

  • “My TV” is your new, personal home screen. From here, you can add your favorite networks to “My Channels” for one-click access to the networks you watch the most.
  • They have also made it easy to pick up where you left off watching with the “Continue Watching” ribbon. And, add your favorite shows, series, and movies for quick access in the “Favorites” ribbon.
  • For quick access to everything currently airing, visit the “On Now” tab. Organized by genres like “Sports,” “Kids,” and “News”, you can browse and find what you’re looking for with a click of a button without scrolling channel by channel.
  • To get a quick view of all the games, matches, shows and sports analysis, visit the “Sports” tab. Looking for a specific game? This screen is organized by sport, so finding the big game is easier than ever.

Sling TV also announced that their app will come pre-loaded on Windows 10 devices in the US.
