Microsoft recently shipped a completely revamped on Android and iOS. The company actually started testing the new design and features with users on the Skype Insider program first, and it seems like Microsoft will continue the Skype Insider program to test new features and improvements. The company today rolled out a new update to the Skype for Android app with some new features, along with improved sharing, and more.

The update integrates Skype into the share system of Android, which means you can now share any photo, link, etc. from other apps in a Skype conversation via the Android share system. Microsoft has also added the ability to delete contacts in the app, and more:

  • General performance improvements
  • Share photos and links to Skype from other apps
  • Delete contacts – this ability to add or remove contacts from their profile.
  • Improved in-call photo rendering

The new update is only available to those part of the Skype Insiders program — if you want to know more about it, you can check it out here. And if you are already a part of the program, you can get the latest update here.
