Skype UWP has picked up a minor new update for Windows Insiders in the Slow Ring. If you are a Windows Insider running the latest Slow Ring build of Windows 10 on either PC or Mobile, you will be able to get the new update for Skype UWP from the Windows Store. As we have stated, the update is pretty minor and it doesn’t introduce a lot of new features. However, Microsoft has added an unread counter to the tile for Skype Preview, which means you can now see the number of unread messages you have on Skype right from your Start Screen or Menu. Here’s the full changelog:
- You can now use the unread counter on the Skype Preview tile to easily see how many unseen conversations on that machine you have.
- If you have enabled the “Use my address book” setting on your local device, you can send a contact request via email to contacts on your device.
The latest update for Skype UWP is version 11.11.103.0 and you can grab it from the link below.
