Microsoft today released a new optimized version of Skype for Android devices taking it to version 8.20.0.9.

The update brings along support for Android’s native call handling options, meaning you can now complete a call when tapping on a phone number in a browser and other apps using Skype and Skype Credits.

The update also brings the usual stability and performance improvements.

The updated app can be found in the Google Play Store here.
