Siri vs Tellme–Microsoft needs to work harder

TechTV.au posted this above video of Apple’s Siri service vs Microsoft’s Tellme as implemented on Windows Phone 7.5, and to tell the truth it is rather embarrassing for Microsoft and Windows Phone.

Long time Windows Mobile users will know the voice command system then was in fact more powerful than what we have in Windows Phone 7 now, and this appears to be another case where Microsoft envisioned a technology but has not executed well enough.

I suggest Microsoft needs to be a lot more ambitious in what they do, else they will never leapfrog the competition, as they claim they intend to do.
