Popular music service Shazam has just updated its Windows Phone app to version 4.5.0 in the Windows Phone store. While the app is not yet a universal app for Windows 10 despite being present on both platforms, it now adds an email login feature allowing you to sign in with your email for a personalized Shazamming experience.

Here’s the changelog history.

• You can now log in with your email address to see your discoveries on and experience a more personalised Shazam.

• Minor bug fixes.

Find new music you’ll love with Shazam 4.4!
• Check out the News Feed to discover great videos, interviews and more from artists you’ve Shazamed
• See what your friends are Shazaming

While Shazam has been great with Windows Phone updates, their Windows desktop app is lacking and we hope that the company is moving to the Windows universal platform soon.
