Sharp showcases its 27-inch 8K monitor with HDR support

At CEATEC Japan 2016 event, Sharp showcased their first 8K Monitor. This 27-inch IGZO display is listed at 1000 nit brightness and it will support 120Hz in 8K mode as well. Sharp has also mentioned that this monitor will support High Dynamic Range (HDR). They played a computer-generated 8K-resolution video on this monitor that gave the visitors a chance to experience the next generation of finely detailed ultra-high-definition images.

Don’t expect this monitor on the market anytime soon as it is still in the prototype stage.
